Gujarat Assembly Election will be held in 2017. The current tenure of current legislative will end in January 2018. There are total 182 constituencies in Gujarat. Vijay Rupani is the incumbent Chief Minister of Gujarat. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is ruling in Gujarat state since 1995. Narendra Modi three times as chief minister of the state. Vidhan Sabha Election 2012, BJP had won 115 seats out of 182. Similarly, BJP had won 117 and 127 in 2007 and 2002 respectively. As well as, BJP had won all 26 seats in Lok Sabha elections.

The Gujarat Vidhan Sabha Election 2017, likely to be held in the month of Dec 2017 to Jan first week 2018. Final date of Gujarat Election 2017, has announced by Election Commission of India. Gujarat Polls 2012 were held in two phases, the Phase 1 poll on 13 Dec and phase 2 polls were held on 17 December 2012.
