Congress Candidate List 2017 for Manipur Election



The ruling Congress party released declared 60 candidates for the Manipur assembly election 2017. Manipur has two regions hills and valley with 20 and 40 seats respectively. The state goes to poll in two phases on March 4 and March 8, 2017. As per list chief minister Okram Ibobi Singh contest from his traditional seat of Thoubal. The ruling Congress is the first and only party in Manipur which has announced the names of all 60 candidates for the elections. Two-time winner, Okram Landhoni, chief minister Singh's wife, is not contesting the elections this time.
