Punjab Assembly Wise Results

As per Latest trend on votes counting, Congress is leading in Punjab with more than 65 Assembly Seats. Now, its sure that Congress is getting majority. Whereas, Debut party in party AAP is successful to lead on 27 Assembly seats. SAD and BJP Alliance is leading on 20 seats. This trend is totally opposite of Exit Polls that declared by multiple agencies on 9th Mar 2017.

As per declaration by Election Commission, 11th Mar 2017 will be the date to decide Punjab Fate for their Political prospective. On 4th Feb 2017, Elections has been successfully completed in Punjab in one phase. All Major parties are affirming their victory in Elections with Majortiy of Assembly seats. Even, AAP'a Leader Arvind Kejriwal stated multiple times on Social Media that His Party will win more than 100 Seats and form their government. Alliance of SAD and BJP is also in important Consideration as recently BJP booked their win in Chandigarh & Faridabad MC elections.
In the last Assembly Elections held in 2012, SAD is the party who formed government with alliance of BJP. Trailing Party was INC with 46 Assembly Seats.

Punjab Assembly Elections 2017

Punjab is a state in northern india bordering with pakistan. This is the place of Sikh community. There are more than 27.98 Million populations (2012). Punjab is mostly known for farming and sikh community. There are 117 Assembly Constituencies and 13 Lok Sabha Constituencies. In last Assembly elections (2012), 3 Major Parties (SAD, INC & BJP) has been participated. The current tenure of Punjab will end on Mar 18, 2017.

Punjab Assembly election 2017 was held on 4th feb for 117 assembly seats along with Amritsar Lok Sabha seat. In Punjab, five polling stations was covered by ETPBS (Electronically Transmitted Postal Ballot System) out of 117 seats. As per ECI total number of electors in the state is 1,98,79,069, including 93,75,546 females and 415 transgender voters. The total 1.98 crore electors exercised their franchise to decide the fate of 1,145 candidates including Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, his son and Deputy, Sukhbir Singh Badal, Cabinet Minister Bikram Singh Majithia and Punjab Congress President and the party's chief ministerial candidate, Capt Amarinder Singh. Voter turnout of 70% (tentative) recorded in Punjab till 5 PM says Election Commission.

According to different opinion Congress to be leading the pre-electoral race in Punjab. The poll predicts 60-65 seats with 37 percent votes in the house of 117. The survey gives second position to Arvind Kejriwal's AAP with 41-44 seats with 34 percent votes.

Punjab Election Dates 2017

Election Commission has announced the Election date for Punjab Assembly Elections 2017. On Wednesday, EC declared all dates related with elections for punjab. Election will take place on 4th Feb 2017 and Counting will be happen on 11th Mar 2017 including of 4 other states. Last date of whole procedure should be completed will be 15th Mar 2017.
